The Short Version
When we moved into our condo, we had a blank wall in the small hallway just inside the entrance that needed something. We added a console table first, then started building around it with a mix of things I already owned and a couple of pieces I bought specifically for the space.
I wanted the entryway to be useful without looking cluttered. The bowl gives us somewhere to drop our keys, the little sign adds some personality, and one of my faux plants brings a little green into an otherwise neutral space. The lamp was something I already owned from our townhouse, but it ended up being especially useful here because the only other light in the hallway is a bright overhead LED.
None of these pieces are complicated, and that is really the point. Together, they gave a plain wall a purpose and made the entrance feel a little warmer and more finished.

Tajsoon 41.8-Inch Console Table
The console table became the anchor for this little entryway. We bought it after moving into the condo because that blank hallway wall needed something, and it gave us both a surface for decor and a practical place for the things we use coming and going.
I like that it gives the hallway a defined purpose without requiring a large piece of furniture.

Bedside Table Lamp with Three Color Light Modes
I originally bought this lamp for our townhouse, so it wasn't purchased as entryway lighting at all. Once we moved, though, it made sense here because the hallway's overhead LED is much brighter than I want every time I walk through the space.
The lamp's three light settings let me use softer lighting instead, while its simple black base and light shade work naturally with the console table.

CM CHIC MONDAY Decorative Marble Bowl
I bought this bowl specifically for the console table because we needed one simple place to put our keys when we come through the door. It does exactly that while looking more like part of the decor than a catch-all container.
It's one of those small pieces that makes the entryway more functional without making it feel more cluttered.

Keys, Wallet, Phone, Kiss Box Sign
The “Keys. Wallet. Phone. Kiss.” sign was another piece I bought specifically for the entryway. It doesn't need to do anything beyond adding a little personality, and I like how it fits the whole coming-and-going purpose of the space.
It also gives the tabletop some height and breaks up the more functional pieces like the key bowl and lamp.

Der Rose Mini Artificial Plant
I already owned the four-pack of these small artificial plants from our townhouse and had used them in different rooms there. After the move, one landed on the console table because the green leaves and white pot add a little contrast against our light gray walls and white trim.
It's an easy bit of greenery without adding another plant I have to keep alive.

The Verdict
This entryway came together one piece at a time rather than from a big decorating plan, which is probably why I like it. The console table gave an unused wall a purpose, and everything else either solves a small everyday problem or helps the space feel more welcoming.
The lamp softens the lighting, the bowl keeps our keys from wandering off, and the sign and plant keep the table from feeling purely functional. Nothing here is particularly elaborate, but together the pieces make the hallway feel organized and finished.
For a small entryway, that was really all I wanted.
