Two things are true about my daily life simultaneously. I always have my phone with me and I hate carrying a purse.

The phone requirement is not negotiable. As a Type 1 diabetic I use a continuous glucose monitoring system that transmits my blood sugar data directly to my phone in real time. My phone is essentially a medical device at this point. It goes where I go, always, without exception.

The Real Life Experience

I use this case every single day. No exceptions.

Running errands in the car, my driver's license is in the case. Going to the grocery store, my debit card is in the case. Getting a manicure or going to the hair salon, my payment is in the case. Anywhere I go my phone goes and now my essentials go with it without me having to think about grabbing a separate wallet or bag.

The card slot holds three items comfortably. My standard setup is driver's license, debit card, and a small amount of folded cash. That covers every daily situation I encounter without carrying anything extra.

The thumb slot for accessing the cards is the detail that makes the whole system work in practice. Press your thumb against the cutout, push the cards up slightly, and they slide out easily. But they do not slide out on their own. There is enough resistance that I have never had a card fall out accidentally, which would defeat the entire purpose of a slim carry system.

The raised bezel around the screen is something I did not fully appreciate until I started dropping my phone regularly, which I do. The screen stays off the surface it lands on and I have not cracked a screen since switching to this case.
