Why We Bought It
Between the two of us we have legitimate reasons to be particular about pillows.
My husband served 26 years in the United States Army. Years of carrying heavy rucksacks combined with years as a military pilot wearing a helmet mounted with night vision goggles have left him with neck discomfort that a flat unsupportive hotel pillow does nothing to help. Night vision goggle systems add significant weight to the front of a flight helmet and create a forward head posture that accumulates strain over years of flying. His neck remembers every mission. A good night's sleep on the road requires a pillow that actually supports his neck properly.
I spent years as a critical care transport nurse flying across New England in a helicopter wearing a flight helmet. My neck has its own set of opinions about support after those years of flying. At home we both sleep on supportive memory foam pillows that we have chosen carefully.

The Real Life Experience
The process is simpler than it sounds. Pillow goes in the case. Fold it in half. Use the elastics to secure the fold. Pull out the small fabric sleeve on the back and slide it down over your luggage handle. That is it. Your pillow is now attached to your luggage, completely hands-free, and taking up no suitcase space at all.
We do this every single trip now without thinking about it. Grab the Purple pillow in its case, fold it, slide it on the luggage, and go. By the time we are rolling through the airport the pillow is just part of our luggage system rather than an extra thing to carry.
The loop attachment for backpacks is a useful secondary option for days when you are not rolling luggage. Clip it to a travel backpack strap and it travels with you just as easily.
Getting the folding technique right takes one or two attempts. Once you understand how the elastics work and how the pillow folds most compactly it becomes completely automatic. We do not think about it anymore.
What I Love
The trolley sleeve is genuinely hands-free. Airports require hands for boarding passes, coffee, and general navigation. Having your pillow attached to your rolling luggage rather than tucked under your arm or taking up a hand is a real quality of life improvement on travel days.
It fits the pillow snugly even with a pillowcase on. We keep a thin pillowcase on our Purple pillow for hygiene and the case accommodates it without issue. No need to strip the pillow every time you pack it.
The compression keeps it genuinely compact. A travel pillow without a compression case is a large awkward object. Folded in half and secured with the elastics it becomes a manageable flat package that attaches cleanly to luggage.
The backpack clip expands the carrying options. Not every trip involves rolling luggage. The clip means you can attach it to a daypack, a travel backpack, or a bag strap just as easily on the days you are traveling light.
It is washable. A pillow case that travels regularly needs to be washable. This one is and it maintains its shape and function through washing.
