The Real Life Experience
My go to sandwich starts with an English muffin split in half, a slice of cheese broken into quarters to fit the cooker, and Canadian bacon. I scramble my egg with a little salt and pepper, sometimes using egg substitute or egg whites to keep things lighter, spray the griddle lightly, pour the egg on, top it with the muffin, close the lid, and set the timer for four and a half minutes. It has never once needed the full five.
What comes out is fully cooked through every time. No runny centers, no undercooked spots, whether I am using whole eggs, egg substitute, or egg whites.
